a good fashion designer friend of mine & creative tapas

About a month ago I was pleased to get a phone call from a friend of mine wanting help catering a small gathering for his friends. I was delighted to put my cooking cap on and come up with just the right menu for the occasion and I decided to add a particular je ne sais quoi to the mix as well!

Tapas Menu

Tuna sashimi with sprinkles of soya sauce

Chicken burgers topped with guacamole and garnished with cilantro

Beef lettuce wraps in a coconut lime sauce

Carrots, celery and cucumbers with mint yogurt garnished with lemon zest

Pleased to say everyone was happy and they were all inspired to go home and come up with their own food creations. And that’s when I walk away from the situation feeling content and happy. After all, the basis for my cooking and presentation is to inspire people to create tasty beautiful bites for themselves.

My friend the fashion designer was happy and excited to receive positive feedback from the night: the food and the overall mood was enjoyed by all. Comments such as, “wow did you see how amazing that tuna tasted?” and “the dessert was impressively displayed!” made me feel delighted that I am awakening a sense of inspiration in people. Now onto the next project, and it starts with the letter ‘b’.

Thank you world for yet another successful creation!
